This was filmed in a day trip I made to the Bedouin tents & camps in Northern & Southern Israel. I spent the night in one of the tents and started filming that morning until that evening. I had been doing a documentary project in stills on what life is like for a nomadic culture that is now being urbanized and on the last day rather then do stills I decided to switch to video. This is what came out. The stills can be seen at www.prophetsofpeace.org along with a detailed description of the day.

Hauntingly mysterious and beautiful. Drawn to the girl on the swing, the boys and the pigeons, herding, and the intimate family setting.

An absolutely brilliant depiction of the archaic simplicity of an ancient nomadic culture. A dominating contender for the festival.
