I Wanted There to Be Sun
I had a couple of days layover in Rio de Janeiro after a photo gig in the South of Brazil. I had no money, but all of the equipment that I needed to make a short film. So I let the city– the people, the colors, and my experiences in the 2 days I was there– become the story.
Thanks to Nemai, the blues-singing Belgian, for hanging out and being part of my inspiration for the film.
If I win the 100,000 clams, I’m using the money to shoot the documentary I’m currently raising funding for “Shake the Dust” - shakethedust.org.
