RAINN WILSONRainn Wilson is an actor, writer and will soon be returning to NBC in the sixth season of the Emmy and Screen Actors Guild Award Winning series for “Best Comedy,” the American version of “The Office.” He has earned two Emmy nominations with his portrayal of Dwight Schrute, an eccentric paper salesman whose ego knows no bounds, dreams of being “#2,” and fervently torments his colleagues in his own lovable, pathetic fashion. He has appeared in a variety of major motion pictures, including a cameo in the #1 film of the year Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and heard as the voice of the lone alien, “Gallaxhar,” in Dreamworks’ highest grossing animated feature Monsters vs. Aliens. Prior to “The Office” fame, he was best known for his role as Arthur Martin, the pitiable mortician’s apprentice on the HBO’s Emmy Award winning television series “Six Feet Under.” Wilson just concluded production on two independent features: Peep World with Michael C. Hall and Sarah Silverman, and Hesher with Natalie Portman and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. As creator, Rainn recently launched the thought-evoking website SoulPancake.com.
